About Molly
After completing college and graduate school, I spent twelve years teaching Language Arts in school settings. I began as a middle school English teacher and then became an elementary school reading instructor. I have also worked as a literacy coach in a kindergarten classroom.
While I love teaching groups of children, I have always felt that kids can flourish with individualized, one-on-one attention. Tutoring allows me to build a meaningful relationship with a child and teach to his or her optimal learning style. I build upon your child’s strengths and use his or her interests as a springboard for reading, spelling, and writing activities.
Throughout my professional life I have been passionate about helping students become stronger readers and writers. I take great joy in helping children enjoy and gain confidence in these activities.
